Amendment to the Inward Processing Regime Communiqué

A provisional article concerning applications for extensions to inward processing authorization certificates and inward processing permits has been added to the Inward Processing Regime Communiqué (Export: 2006/12), published in Official Gazette No. 26382 on 20 December 2006.

The provision applies to inward processing authorization certificates and permits issued before its entry into force whose export commitment accounts remain open, and to those whose accounts have been closed with penalties that remain wholly or partly uncollected. Applications must be submitted to the Ministry within three months of the provision’s entry into force. If approved, an extension may be granted from the approval date, for no more than half the original validity period of the certificate or permit.
