General Customs Communiqué on Pre-Arrival Processing
The communiqué allows pre-arrival processing of containerized production inputs arriving by sea under release for free circulation and inward processing.
The General Customs Communiqué (Pre-Arrival Customs Procedures) was published in Official Gazette No. 30664 on 23 January 2019.
The communiqué sets out the procedures and principles for starting customs procedures before goods arrive in the Turkish Customs Territory. It covers goods transported in containers by sea that may be used as inputs in domestic production and are to be placed under the release for free circulation or inward processing procedure.
