Customs Regulation amended: express cargo declarations and bonded warehouse permits
The May 2022 amendment covered authorized consignor export declarations, simplified postal and express courier declarations and bonded warehouse permits.
The Ministry of Trade’s Regulation Amending the Customs Regulation was published in Official Gazette No. 31846 on 25 May 2022.
Export declarations under authorized consignor status may be filed with the customs office where the person is located rather than where the facility is. For postal and express courier indirect representatives, declarations without an invoice may be accepted if an e-waybill containing the necessary data is attached; a supplementary declaration must then be filed within seven business days. Bonded warehouse opening and operating permits are issued indefinitely, and laboratory analysis fees are set under Annex 24.
Articles 5, 6 and 7 took effect one month after publication, Article 11 on 1 January 2023, and the remaining articles on publication.
